Parish Council Minutes – July 6, 2008

OLD BUSINESS: Church Roof: Things are rolling . . .cost will be great. Nabholtz is waiting on quotes before making the next move.
School Roof: Water problem must be addressed. Two contractors are coming to give bids on fixing the problem. Cost will probably be around $50, 000. We hope to get grant money to cover most of the cost.
Bulletin: Sunday, July 13, 2008, Kathy McBride from the company in St. Louis will be in Paris to meet with the Stewardship committee.
Financial Statement: Published with July 6 bulletin, will be published each month.
Summit Meeting: Meeting was arranged and took place between the various groups.
Music Sign: Vicki will ask art teacher to help design something that will match the esthetics of the church.
Bazaar/Picnic: Committee is working. Father got the big tent from Subiaco for the bingo area. Tickets approved and ordered from Khilling Printing.
NEW BUSINESS: Several items need to be discussed but with only three members present all were tabled until August meeting.

OLD BUSINESS: Church Roof: Gary Simmons has not heard anything from Keith Berryman of the roofing company. Hope to hear something soon. Water problem will be taken care of as soon as possible. Water leak has to be stopped before the drywall can be repaired.
Cemetery Sign: Father Eugene has the sign almost completed.
NEW BUSINESS:
Bulletins: Company from St. Louis is supposed to speak with Sharon sometime in June.
Microphone: Jason Cauthron had a class for lectors, four people attended.
Signs for Music: Vicki Schneider is working on getting a design together.
Bazaar/Picnic: This event will be run as a group from the Parish Council and School Board. First meeting was set for June 10 at 8:15.
Summit Meeting: Father Eugene will arrange a summit meeting with the School Board, PTO, and Stewardship Committees.
Financial Statements: Sharon will attach a copy of the monthly financial statements, council minutes, and calendar to the bulletin.

Parish Council Minutes – May 4, 2008

OLD BUSINESS: Financial Picture: Sharon Pohlmeier gave an update on the church finances. Collections are down and without the estate money and endowment fund money we would be approximately $4000 in the hole. It was pointed out that some of the recently done projects would not have been undertaken had we not gotten the extra monies. School’s financial status has increased since April 2003. Addition: $350 donation was given toward the building; there is still metal work being done.
Hall Doors: Doors have been installed; Charlie Sparks suggested we don’t do the etching on the glass, Council decided to leave glass as is.
Block Building/Rectory Roof: Insurance sent a check for $5560.65 to repair damage to the building, rectory, and sister’s house; an estimate of just under $8000.00 was obtained from Holder Construction of Altus. Gary Eveld moved we get the roofs fixed, Joe Schluterman seconded, Council voted in favor of fixing ASAP.
North Parking Lot: Not feasible for church to put up lights. Gary Simmons will send a letter to Holly Lowe explaining situation.
Crosswalk: State would help if it were for the school but not because of a church. Church would have to pay for any lights to be installed and the crosswalk signs are in place.
Teacher Appreciation Dinner: Father will take school staff out to eat May 14.
Leaks in Church: We have a water trap where the tower meets the vestibule. Keith Berryman from the roofing company is doing some checking on whose liability it is. Cost to fix this problem will be extensive.
Work Day: Schedule workdays to spread mulch for the next three Wednesday’s begin May 14.
Parish Council Member elections: Ten parishioners have agreed to serve if elected filling the three spots vacated by Kenny Vines, Jim O’Bar, and Gary Eveld. Those agreeing to serve are Erin Pohomeier, Dottie Neumeier, Mary Beth Nehus, Jason Davis, Judy Koch, Randy Koch, Dorothy Lamb, John Thias, James Nehus, and Jason Komp. Elections will be conducted via ballot the weekend of May 17 & 18.
Cross Lights: Jim O’Bar going to get a young person to go with him when he changes the lights to show them the procedure.
Drywall: Wait for roof leaks to be fixed before fixing the drywall.
Windows: Mason offered to put in vents on the windows. He also suggested new Lexan be installed on bottom windows, he is pricing the materials and will get back with Gary Simmons.
Cemetery Sign: Father has made progress on the sign.
NEW BUSINESS:
Bulletins: Pastoral Solutions from St. Louis spoke with Sharon about printing our church bulletins for free. The company would solicit advertisers, print the bulletin, and deliver them to Sharon at no cost to the parish. It was decided to have the company representative come in and give the specifics before a decision would be made on the company printing the bulletin or leave in house as it is now.
Microphone: Jason Cauthron offered to teach a microphone class to show the lectors how to properly use the microphones.
Signs for Music: Decision was made to design and build two new signs instead of purchasing an electronic sign. The new signs would be placed on either side of the alter, by the statues where they would be easily seen.
Pictorial: Disband for lack of interest. Those who had their pictures taken may pick up their proofs in the front vestibule beginning in mid-June.
Bazaar/Picnic: Council decided to get the new members on board and begin work with the school board to make this a much bigger event than last year.
Cargill: St. Joseph Parish will give $100 a month to the Ministerial Alliance/COS fund for those in need due to job loss at the Cargill plant.

North Parking Lot: Nicky Mings estimated the cost to be 1.19 per square foot. Asphalt company will pour over existing structures for around $6000. Paving will be coordinated with city street paving.

Chris Schneider: 1. Leaks in church – there are some gutter issues and mortar that needs replacing. 2. Would like to organize a workday with the Stewardship Committee. 3. Mulch – asked where he should get this, Kenny Vines will find out from Joe where it needs to be purchased and let Chris know. 4. Cemetery – fallen trees and mess cleaned up.
Liability Insurance – Diocese raising our premium rates from $8214 to $9087.
Donation: An anonymous donation of $56,000 was given to the church.
Stewardship: Two parishioners signed the Parish Council sheet at the Stewardship fair – Dorothy Neumeier and Erin Pohlmeier. All Council members are supposed to bring the name of one person who would be willing to serve to the May meeting.
Cross Lights: Jim O’Bar is going to climb the bell tower to change the lights on the cross and take some pictures for Bob Cowie.
Drywall: Gary Simmons going to have Sharon call Steeplejack Construction to have them give us estimates.
Windows: Gary Simmons going to have Sharon call Bovard Studio to have them give us estimates for repairing the windows.
Farmers Mutual Aid: Gave $4000.00 to the school since they filed no claims.
Cemetery Sign: Fr. Eugene is still working on the sign between other projects; he will have it completed by the fall.
Parish Council Minutes – March 9, 2008

OLD BUSINESS: Christmas Fund: No new expenditures.
Addition: Father Eugene has the doorframes hung, just waiting on metal.
Hall Doors: Jim O’Bar has spoken with Charlie Sparks who is going to get bronze commercial doors and will etch a cross in the class for $2600 total cost with installation.
Block Building: Adjuster working on getting a whole new roof for the building. Harold Schluterman is going to speak with Raymond Neumeier to see if he would be interested in putting a composition roof on the building.
Heat & Air: Steve Adams has looked over the system; as long as the water stays hot the system should work properly. Some registers are still blowing cold air. Gary Simmons is going to contact Steve and have him change the thermostat to see if this will help maintain the system when programmed.
Rectory roof: Inspector supposed to come back Wednesday, March 12. She will give her final decision on what needs to be done at that time. Council voted to match the new shingles with the church not the green that it presently has.
Light Post: Chris has found and fixed the broken globes.
Electronic Display: One’s found on Internet cost around $500. Vicki Schneider will check with Pioneer Time and Temperature for prices before decision is made.

Chain Saw: Chris needs a chain saw to cut up fallen trees; Kenny will give Chris a brand new one he has at his home.
North Parking Lot: Jim O’Bar is going to do some checking with asphalt companies to see if the lot can be fixed without having to remove the current cement, rocks, and dirt.
Crosswalk: Holly Lowe asked in a letter if anything could be done to aid those using the crosswalk during church times. Jim O’Bar is going to contact Nicky Mings to check on this issue.
Parish Council Minutes – February 2, 2008 Absent: Gary Eveld Guests: None Old Business: Tables: Joe Schluterman going to buy remaining tables.
Christmas Fund: $1387.03 remaining in fund from building Farris house. Porch still needs to be poured for project to be completely finished.
School Board: Fr. Aaron has agreed to be on the school board, Ken Hart already represents Fr. Dennis, and Father Eugene is going to talk with Bob Cowie about someone from St. Anthony’s serving.
Extension: Everything but the sides and roof trim is on. Harold Schluterman gave a list of those who have donated money, time, and materials for the project. He will wash down and finish the sides when the weather gets better.
Hall Doors: Raymond Neumeier got several estimates; the most cost effective and efficient door will be purchased at Rainwater Lumber Company. The glass will be tinted and Jim O’Bar is going to talk with Charlie Sparks to get his opinion and see about getting a cross-etched in the glass.
Block Building: Roof has to be replaced due to wind damage; insurance adjuster will be at Paris, Monday, February 4.
Church Heat and Air: Steve Adams and Gary Simmons went through the entire system. Steve found and corrected a couple problems and will be back to correct another when the part he needs comes in.
Mulch: Decision was made to purchase natural colored mulch rather than the red mulch. Chris Schneider is checking with several different suppliers to get the best price and will pick up the mulch once he finds the best value.
New Business: Rectory Roof: Roof suffered wind damage last week. Insurance adjuster will be in Paris on Monday, February 4, to get pictures and file report.
Minister’s List: Updated minister’s lists have been sent out to all volunteers.
Yearly Insurance: The $8000 insurance premium to the diocese will be paid March 1.
Light Post: One of the posts blew over in the wind breaking one of the globes. Chris is checking with lighting suppliers to find a replacement.
Electronic # Display: Vicki Schneider will check the internet for an electronic number display system so that song numbers can be seed by everyone in church including Father Eugene.
Photo Directory: Decision was made to go ahead with the publication of the directory printing those pictures already taken or submitted along with a complete roster of the church members. Laura Witt of Khilling printing in Magazine will be contacted to do the printing.

Glen Constantino – Fr. Eugene spoke with several pastors, some have a representative and others are willing to come to the school board meetings.
Money to School – Parish gives $3225.00 per month fulfilling our commitment.
Building Extension – Roof is on, getting close to completion.
Hall Doors – Jim O’Bar will get estimates to install a 6-foot door in the center and eliminate the outer doors.
Block Building – Roof has wind damage, Father asked Sharon to contact the diocese to file an insurance claim for repairs.
Heat/Air for School – Probable cost is $30,000; grant has been applied for but no word yet.

New Business: Msgr. Herbert—Recently sent a $7000 check for a security system for the school.
Church Heat & Air—Gary Simmons will call Adams again to get the problem with the system resolved.
Mulch—It is time to replace the mulch in the flowerbeds. Joe and Kenny will get with Chris and make a decision about whether to put mulch or lava rocks.
Knights of Columbus—Asked if parish would allow them to pour a slab on the east side of their building to put their trashcan on. Jim O’Bar will talk to them about the easement on the north side before a decision is made.
Paris Express—Mass schedule and information submitted to paper for their website and local churches page.
Mary Farris—House is complete, many thanks to all who helped physically and financially. Tom and Mike will be pouring a pad to put the steps and an awning over the entry. All expenses not expected to exceed $5000. Insurance worth $10,000 from Logan County Farmers Mutual Aid and put in her name.
Parish Council Minutes – December 2, 2007 Absent: Jim O’Bar Guests: None Old Business: Sound System – Speakers sound great. - 2 new Lavaler(lapel) and a Handheld mic were purchased. Jason said old speakers can be fixed for around $150, they will then be placed in the hall.
Chairs & Tables – About half of the old tables and chairs have been sold. New chairs – 250 and tables – 25 round, 14 – 8 foot, have been purchased at a total cost of $8649.00
Glen Constantino – Fr. Eugene suggested to Abbot Jerome to have pastors serve on school board. Abbot Jerome sent a letter to the deanery pastors asking for the pastor or a delegate from each parish to serve on the board. Fr. Eugene hadn’t heard anything as of this meeting.
Building Extension – Posts have been set, the base is down, will begin construction ASAP.
Hall Doors – Raymond Neumeier is getting estimates from a door company.
Computer - Functioning
New Business: Lift Chair – Since chair is non-functioning, voted to have Chris remove the chair.
Christmas Decorations – Decorate church December 16 after Mass. Outside Nativity will be set up next week.
Parish Mission – Fr. Leo will be here December 16, 17, 18 - 6:30 – 7:30; story will be in local paper and Mike Koehler is going to try to get information in the Little Rock and Ft. Smith papers as well.
Christmas Mass – Christmas Eve – 6:00 pm; Christmas Day – 9:00 am New Year’s Eve – 6:00 pm; New Year’s Day – 9:00 am
Offertory – Suggestion was made to go back to using the parish roster for this ministry. If no one shows up to carry the offertory, the ushers will then choose a family to carry up the gifts.
Advent – Families will be chosen by council members for all four weeks.
Cub Scouts – Becky Ezell asked to use one of the rooms in the sister’s house for her troop meeting on Tuesday nights. Council voted against this due to insurance liabilities.
Heat and Air – School units are old and worn out. Jim Maddox has written a grant to hopefully cover the costs of these repairs. Ken Hart gave an estimate and Eddie Ullrich and Michael Hughes will be asked to submit estimates as well. Hopefully the grant will pay for the entire cost and no money will be involved for the school/parish.
Parish money to school – When looking at the quarterly budget it was established that $2225.00 per month is given to the school. This was checked due to a question by the school board about Parish’ $2000 donation per month.

Trailer – Tom Pohlmeier donated his half of the trailer to the church.
Mulcher for mower – Mulching kit purchased for mower, has been installed.
Picnic – Joe Schluterman volunteered to chair the picnic committee. Committee will be chosen from students, PTO, School Board, Men’s Club, etc.
Chairs – Since the money has been received from Little Rock from the Seminarian Fund, the remaining tables and chairs will be purchased.
Skate Boarders – Harold Schluterman and Joe Schluterman will make signs to post keeping skate boarders off steps, parking lot, and porch.

Trailer – Gary Simmons talked to Tom about the trailer, Council voted to pay Tom for his portion and keep the trailer. Father Eugene fixed a ramp on Chris’s trailer so her can carry the mower, equipment, etc.
New Business: Mulcher for mower – Joe Schluterman suggested purchasing a mulching kit for the mower, using mulching blades and a cover for the shoot.
Picnic – Council and School Board will co-sponsor picnic. Planning will begin now for next year. Gary Simmons is also going to ask the Stewardship Committee if they would be interested in helping sponsor as well.
CCD – Tom working on getting servers from CCD classes.
Chairs – 250 Padded chairs that match the tables will be purchased when Sam’s has them available.
Donut Schedule – Ask anyone in parish who would like to volunteer with this ministry. Kenny will create a checklist of supplies and directions on how to make coffee, etc.
Forest Service – donated a computer desk to the parish
Skate Boarders – signs will be posted to keep skaters off the parking lot and the porch steps.
Glen Constantino – suggested that we involve the priests from area parishes to help support the school and have input about the school – academically, financially, etc. Father Eugene will speak with Abbot Jerome about having a summit meeting with the priests, Mr. Constantino, and Abbot Jerome.

Seminarian Fund – In concordance with Deacon Bo McAllister’s request, the Council voted 6 – 0 to change “Seminarian Deposits” funds to St. Joseph Church’s general fund.
Labor Day Give-Away – Council voted to offer three choices in the Pre-Labor Day Picnic Give-Away: Winner would have a choice of a Ford Ranger, a Ford Focus, or $10,000. Also voted to place $10 purchase price on tickets.

Old Business:
Workday - Chris Schneider presented a list of jobs needing attendance to those present on "workday" and by the end of the day the list had been almost completed.
Seminarian Fund - Father will send a note to Greg Wolfe regarding information from Fr. Sebastian about the fund.
Lawn Mower - Grasshopper mower ordered - 61 inch cutting deck, 27 horse power, mid movement mower from Warden's in Ozark at a cost of $7698, including an extra set of blades and one service with a 5 year warrenty.
New Business:
Sound System - Jason Cauthron put together a estimate for the new system which will include a new amp, new microphones, and new speakers - cost will be around $2,500. Council voted to give Jason the go-ahead to do this project.
Lights - Lights around alter need updating. Vicki Schneider research for someone to look at the lights and give suggestions on how to update so that alter area is better lit and shadows are eliminated.
Servers - Members asked that we have Deacon Tom speak with the servers and put more emphasis on serving - dress code, importance of job, etc and to try to get every eligible child in parish involved in this service.
Kitchen - Going to get a commercial kitchen designer to look at the building and design a kitchen. Once a design is drawn up, the members of the Mother's Society will be consulted on the issue.
Phone - So that Sharon can be reached for both parish and school business in either office, a phone wire will be run so that both numbers are available in both offices.
Sign - Mike Ahrns will construct a sing at the hall once the temperature gets more worker friendly. Brick screens will also be constructed around the air conditioning unit.
Windows - Mason Anhalt is going to putty around the top church windows when he can get to them safely.
Pictorial - Vicki will supply Sharon with a list of those who have had pictures taken and those submitting pictures. Will then ask Sharon to contact those who haven't done either to get a picture so the pictorial can be completed.

Stewardship - Will plan a work day for June 30
Painting - Joe Schluterman will ask Mayor Elsken if we can borrow the striper to paint the parking lot.
Song Books - New books are scattered throughout church. Gary Simmons made a request for new Novena booklets - will speak with Sharon about these booklets.
Seminarian Fund - Nearly $30,000 in Little Rock. Father Euguen will make an official request for the money to be sent to the parish.
Painting - Mason Anhalt completed the painting job inside church and has been paid in full.
New Business:
Windows - Some of the windows on the top story are leaking and are in need of new caulking. Mason Anhalt will be contacted to see if he can do this job.
Secretary - Sharon Pohlmeier took the job as secretary for both the parish and school reducing expenses by seven or eight thousand.
Speakers - Jason Cauthron is looking into a new speaker system and will put together a proposal and present it to the council.
Water Cooler - A water cooler was installed in the front foyer for anyone needing a drink during Mass.
Quilters - The quilters asked the Council to consider removing the carpet in their quilting room.
Fr. Aaron - $356 was collected at St. Benedicts and sent to Vivian for the school.
Land - The land west of Paris was sold, $9,746.45 was deposited in the school endowment fund at the diocese.
Donation - A private donation of $10,000 was given to the school operating fund.
Turkey Federation - Council approved federation's rental of the hall for $100 for their annual meeting.
Church Doors - Once the money from the Seminarian Fund is deposited into the parish funds, Council will check on changing out the front doors of the church.
Mower - Chris asked Council to consider purchasing a new mower as the old one stays broken down. Joe Schluterman will price mowers from Wardens in Ozark.
Parish Council Minutes – April 1, 2007 Absent: None Guests: School Board, Vivian Fox
Old Business:
Maintenance – Chris Schneider is in the process of doing a great deal of maintenance to the grounds, he will repaint the parking lot lines, handicapped spaces, and some various poles in the very near future.
Stewardship – Saturday night pizza – served 15 pizzas to around 50 people. Cleanup – there is no need for outside cleanup so they will concentrate on an inside the church cleanup day.
Song Books – Jim O’Bar has collected $845 total – Sharon ordered the books April 2, they are in church.
Capital Improvement Plan – Diocese still making sure this money can be taken out by the parish.
Painting in Church – Mason Anhalt has completed the painting of the alter area.
Trees (south of parking lot) – Requests have been made to leave there at this time.
New Business:
School – Board members and Vivian Fox were on hand to discuss having one secretary for both the school and parish as per diocese suggestions. A committee was established to come up with a job description. Groups will meet April 9 to make the decision final.
Lean To – Harold Schluterman has materials donated to build a lean to on the west side of the block building to place the lawn mower and other objects in. He will speak to Billy Schwartz about putting in some SB2 to level the ground before the lean to is built.
Speakers – Only one speaker in church is functioning. Jason Cauthron will be asked to look at the system and recommend what is necessary to get it up to par.
Water Cooler – Request was made to put a water cooler in the back of church for anyone who might need water during church.

OLD BUSINESS School-Board meeting March 5, getting close to making a decision about tuition. Jerry Swedeen proposed to have a dance once every three months and designate the money for specific purposes – air conditioners, etc. – for the school. Jim O’Bar made a motion that the group get the hall for no cost, Harold Schluterman seconded, all approved.
Stewardship-Gary Eveld asked for input about the Welcoming Committee – it was decided that a packet that tells about the church would be a good start. Other projects for the committee include: Pizza (Saturday Night) – start March 31 Cleanup – slated for early April E-mail addresses – Mike Koehler will begin gathering from parishioners
Landscaping/Maintenance-hired Chris Schneider, he has already done a tremendous job around the grounds and Kenny Vines asked for approval to purchase more mulch and roundup, the matter was approved. It was decided that Chris would have a $1000 per month budget for maintenance, repairs, etc. and that any major purchases would have to be approved by the committee chairs.
Song Books-Mothers Society donated $300, Jim O’Bar has $300, and a private donation of $100 for a total of $700. Jim was going to ask Sharon Pohlmeier to order as many books as we could get with this amount.
Budget-Council decided to have a simple budget published on the website for parishioners to view.
Capital Improvement Fund-Gary Eveld is working with Greg Wolf from the Diocese to get this money transferred into our account.
Painting-Mason Anhalt will begin painting the week of March 19.
Tables/Chairs-more tables and chairs will be purchased from Sam’s as soon as they get them in stock.
NEW BUSINESS Hall Kitchen-Larry Schmalz has reviewed the hall and says that the stage can come out without and main structure problems so that a larger, more efficient kitchen can be constructed.
Trees-Joe Schluterman and Kenny Vines will look at the trees at the south end of the parking lot and make a decision about their possible removal.
Why Catholic? – 91 participants took part in the program during the Lenten season.

OLD BUSINESS Stewardship - Committee presented a list of their 2007 projects. Projects include: 1. Pizza Saturday night once per month. 2. Teenagers offering services to the elderly. 3. Spring cleaning inside church and grounds. 4. Improve the Website 5. Welcoming Committee 6. E-mail system for parish
Landscaping/Maintenance - Kenny, Joe, Jim and PeeWee will meet Monday, February 5, to formulate job description.
Usher seating - There is now a pew marked for usher seating and badges are available for ushers to wear during their service time.
Song books - If the parishioners donate $300, Jim O'Bar has a matching donation of $300 in order to purchase 50 new books to replace those with torn bindings.
Caution Light - Nick Mings is still working on this project for us.
NEW BUSINESS Budget - Gary Eveld presented council with an updated budget, he will ask Sharon to run this on the upcoming bulletin.
Seminarian Fund - Council voted to rename this fund the Capital Improvement Fund and use the near $30,000 for various projects in parish and school. The money will be used to: (approximate totals) 1. Put a new door on the front of the hall - $1700 2. Paint the walls of the alter area in church - $3000 3. Fix the leaking school roof - $2400 4. Purchase the remaining tables and chairs for hall - $7800
School - Board discussed tuition for next year and found they will have to raise the cost. Final costs will be presented when more information is gleaned.
Donations - Church received an out of state private donation of $1000 and a $100 donation from the 4th Degree Knights in Fort Smith to be used in CCD education.
Rifles in Hall - John Gronwald agreed to remove the bolts from the CWV's rifles in the hall for safety purposes.

Old Business: Nativity-Thanks to Gary Simmons, PeeWee Schluterman, and Alice Schluterman for setting up the outside nativity. The set will be stored in the church basement.
Advent Candles-Thanks to the families who participated in the candle lighting and to Gary Eveld and Kenny Vines for getting the families involved.
Ice Melt-PeeWee Schluterman purchased some bags of the product to be used if/when we have on on the walks/steps around church.
Painting-Tabled until next meeting.
New Business: Stewardship-Mike Koehler spoke to Council about the committee. He felt like they had made progress in their first year but were a bit disappointed in the response to the mailing of the stewardship forms. They will meet January 14 to discuss the projects they will be undertaking in the first half of the 2007 year. He also presented Joe Schluterman with the list of those interested in helping with grounds keeping and PeeWee Schluterman with a list of those interested in helping with maintenance.
School-Chris Schneider reported that the school roof is leaking. Bondrite put the current roof on in 1998 with a 10 year warranty; however, they are out of business. Chris is going to check to see if the company was bonded and check more on the warranty.
Maintenance/Landscaping Job-advertise for parishioners interested in job to apply for both positions.
Usher seating-Establish seats/pews for ushers in back of church with sign on bench.
Song Books-Jim O'Bar is going to work on raising funds to purchase new songbooks to replace those that are taped together.
Raffle License-once the forms are available to apply for a license we will get one license to cover all organizations.
Jr. High Cheerleaders-Group asked to use the hall for practice a couple times a week. Council okayed use with a $50 refundable deposit and the presence of their sponsor and one adult from the parish.
Caution Light-PeeWee Schluterman talked with Nick Mings about getting a caution light on the highway for Saturday night Mass. Nick is supposed to get the forms for us to fill out.
Credit Union Letter-Paris Federal Credit Union had letters left over from Stewardship Fair, asked to put these in the back of church, Council felt that since the credit union is not affiliated with the church the letter should not be placed in the church.
